Franklin and his brother, Marcel were being advertised as "Easter lambs" when we took them in. It broke our hearts to imagine such tiny, gentle creatures meeting their end so early in their lives. Sadly, they had their ears tagged, tails docked, and were neutered all without painkillers, and they were terrified of humans for a very long time. In the last few months, they have begun to approach us often, and even strangers sometimes!
